Novice U18 Climbers

If you're U18 and new to climbing then you must be supervised by an experienced adult whilst in the centre. This means booking onto a family introduction session or booking onto a private lesson. Once you've built up experience whilst supervised you will be able to take the Junior Assessment to climb unsupervised (see below).

Unsupervised Climbing

If you are between 14 and 17 years old and are an experienced climber you can climb in our centre unsupervised once have completed our Junior Assessment. In addition to this a parent/guardian must have completed one of our waivers and:

  • 14 & 15 year olds: your parent or legal guardian must accompany you on your visit to receive a briefing.

  • 16 & 17 year olds: do not require parental visit but we reserve the right to call parents to verify consent and your parent/legal guardian must have signed the unsupervised junior boulder assessment and registered yourself prior your visit at The Nest
