First Visit

When you first climb at the centre you have a number of options:​

1. Experienced Climber

If you consider yourself to be an experienced climber you will be able to climb at The Nest without supervision. You must have climbed at least 3 times before and will be asked a few safety questions by our staff. You will also be required to read our safety policy and complete our registration form (see below).

2. Supervised Climber

 

If you come along with an experienced friend (see experienced climber info above) then you can climb if supervised by them. You will still be required to read our safety policy and complete our registration form (see below).

3. New Climber

If you are new to climbing we require you to book onto one of our introductory classes. The classes last 30 minutes and run regularly throughout the week. Our experienced instructors will take you through the basics of climbing and centre etiquette. This class also includes free shoe rental and use of the centre after the session.
